A pelvic health therapist that is proud to serve everyBODY.
Why is The Rich Therapist the right choice?
It’s in the name…
Reliable: For 7+ years, Dr. Jasmine Evans, PT, DPT, WCS has been educating and empowering patients with the awareness and treatment tools to independently manage their pelvic health.
Inclusive: Pelvic health physical therapy was originally (and currently in some organizations) labeled women’s health physical therapy as it focused solely on cis-gendered women. We believe that pelvic health physical therapy is for everyBODY.
Caring: Many people delay pelvic health services out of fear, shame, and/or embarrassment. With us, you can expect private, one-on-one care that is focused on helping you reach your goals in a welcoming, safe, and compassionate environment.
Honest: Traditional health care systems are unable to tell you how much your treatment will cost until your final bill arrives. With us, there is always transparency in the pricing.
What is pelvic health physical therapy?
Pelvic health physical therapy promotes optimal bowel, bladder, and sexual health using skilled, individualized interventions that target the whole body, including the pelvic floor.
The pelvic floor is a cluster of muscles and ligaments in the pelvic region that are responsible for maintaining continence, assisting with sexual function, providing postural stability, coordinating with respiration, and supporting the surrounding organs, including the uterus, bladder, and rectum. EveryBODY has a pelvic floor, which is susceptible to dysfunction throughout one's life cycle due to aging, pregnancy/postpartum, surgery, injury, poor behaviors/habits, etc.
Every patient scenario is unique, but we take great pride in providing a holistic approach to thoroughly address any bowel, bladder, and/or sexual dysfunction using the most appropriate tools.
